Our Teachers
Corey
Corey, founder of Love City Yoga is a welcoming, calm and experienced yoga teacher who is passionate about movement, curious by nature and driven by connection. Corey's love for anatomy and knowledge of the energy body infuses her thoughtful and intelligent sequences. She aims to support students in feeling deeply into their experience on the mat. She guides asana classes that align the body, draw awareness to the energetic systems, build strength and stability, and leaves students feeling more connected to themselves and their natural spirit.
Corey embarked on her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in May 2014 with Ana Forrest and Erica Mather. She is Reiki 2 and Rebirthing Breathwork Certified, and is expanding her knowledge of the subtle body and relationship with the power of mindful breathing. Currently she is pursuing her 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Susanna Barkataki.
Jean Lynn is an ERYT200 certified yoga teacher and has been studying yoga for over two decades. She is trained in hatha, vinyasa, yin, and restorative yoga and leads practitioners from beginner to advanced. She is dedicated to helping students see how yoga can be transformative both on and off the mat. Her classes are creative, playful, and encourage freedom through self expression. Jean has studied with world renowned teachers such as Jared McCann, Simon Park, Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rea, Dharma Mittra, and many others.
Jean
Kaelyn is a Seattle-born yoga teacher who first came to the mat for stress relief and fitness, but over the past 10 years, yoga has become a grounding force in her life. This practice helped her cultivate confidence, patience, and grace both on and off the mat. It’s this transformative impact that inspires her to share the practice with others.
A 200-hour RYT trained through The Yoga and Ayurveda Center, Kaelyn specializes in Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga. She loves taking Ashtanga classes and teaching high-energy power vinyasa that blends strength, fluidity, and breath. Her teaching is shaped by an extensive dance background, giving her classes a rhythmic, embodied quality that encourages students to move with awareness and explore their edges in a safe, supportive way.
Kaelyn teaches all levels from beginner to advanced, and loves the shared energy of people coming together for mindful movement. When she’s not teaching, Kaelyn is a professional chef and often travels to lead and cook at yoga retreats around the world– bringing people together through movement, mindfulness, and nourishing food. At the heart of every offering, Kaelyn holds the belief that self-awareness is a powerful path toward personal and collective healing.
